You are very welcome and it's no trouble.

It would certainly be worth uninstalling the driver and seeing if there is a more up to date one available at the same time. I just had mine updated automatically so there could well be.

Well I unistalled ATI CC, and just installed the driver.  I also reinstalled the game and updated it.
Hey Dark,

Heres the errors that came up: 0x00000124 followed by a long 0x000000000, and 0xfffffa80081cf028, 0x00000000b6000000, 0x0000000000200001

btw I played the solo mission offline for sometime with no issue (seemed like awhile anyway) but as you can see theres the mumbo jumbo displayed above.

Im kinda hoping you may have a suggestion, program to test or what not.  Id also like your thoughts on possibly a new graphics card fixing the issue?  I been planning to upgrade my card, mainly because its an older HD 4850 (10.1)

p.s.  Heres a link to a forum discussing what appears a very similiar issue http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/5530645.page;jsessionid=1CDE6A7CDCBF55F47467BB22D9E763F9#13089873  ( I only found it just now because I googled before asking you "Do you believe Punkbuster could be causing the BSOD")  The only bad part is that no solution is listed...

Hey Dark (and anyone else with ET6 installed)

First off, I kinda like the idea of the OC button on the back of the mobo, it reminds me of the turbo button on my 233MMX.  But anyway I mostly installed ET6 to make sure the button works LOL (I still havnt tried any settings change or the button)

The Gigabyte German board has a post reguarding BC2 & ET6 compatibility.  http://forum.gigabyte.de/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=3654  The original post reguarding (1155) is dated March, so is this issue resolved with the updated ET6 or is this even an issue?

p.s.  How accurate would you say the CPU temp is listed under ET6?

Hi

Thanks for the detailed stop code from the BSOD. The problem is nothing to do with your graphics card but your QPI/Vtt setting.

0x00000124 << incorrect QPI/Vtt voltage  maybe be too high or too low. You need to go into the BIOS/MIT section and try tweaking it a bit. Make a note of the original setting first.

Grrr  I coulda swore that when I selected Profile 1 that QPI showed something like 1.3 while Profile 2 showed 1.1 or something.  So I been spending time reading on this issue (little tired)  But is it possible with all the Auto settings that even though I select Profile 1 and it shows 1.3 that somehow it falls back to 1.1?  I coulda swore I seen this number change without my changing it.

Thanx for the answer though!  Im gonna look at the settings tomorrow

Hey Dark.

I have been to the Corsair forum about this Ram. (Cmz6gx3m3a1600c8)  Im not so sure that this was the best choice.  I just tried the ram at 1.64v and still got the 124 error in-game.

Should I try adjusting QPI/VTT, with Ram at 1.64v?  or re-install OS

Im beginning to believe that I need to plan to pickup some Ram thats on the approved list

Adjusting the memory voltage is not the same as the QPI/Vtt. While you are there though increase the memory voltage to 1.66v. Don't worry about the colour change it is not a problem.

Hey Dark!

I'm not so sure this has anything to do with my memory or anything, but Do you know much about the Fan/Temp sensors?  I have my Cooler plugged into the CPU Fan, but the rest of my fans run off a controller.

The System 1 Temp is running warm/Hott, I was just waking up last night when I checked on it last (I know it was really red, wanna say it registered 212C).

Today I have all Fans running full tilt, almost all readings @ 30.  System 2 Temp shows 34, while System 1 is at 42 (no load on system)

Just a few mins with fans idling and System 1 temp is at 50.  I have no clue where the sensor is, but Fan 1 is located below the PCI socket.  For reference water is at 33
 CPU shows 35
 Sys 34
Sys1 51(currently, but not rising at idle anyway)
 Sys2 43
 Sys3 35

Is it safe to say these are accurate temps?  Does the Mobo display the same exact numbers?  Im asking because if this isnt actual temps, maybe I should disable/uninstall ET6 and see how system runs in game.  However if its even remotely close, I guess I need to figure out how to mount a side fan.  Although Im not so sure that would come close to cooling what I believe the temps actual hit per ET6...

Zip

P.S.  Only one fan I didnt crank up earlier (GPU).  My card is overclocked, and Ive always kept it at auto.  The temp can hit 65C and fan speed stays zero.  So anyway I checked Sys 1 temp, and it had lowered some (wanna say 47).  I went into catylist control center and selected enable manual control, and set it to 80 percent.  This dropped my GPU to 38, and Sys 1 is currently 39 (Sys 2 is still 43).  fyi:  I just turned off manual control, GPU back up to 61, and Sys 1 at 46.  I imagine I should be concerned with Sys2 temp, but again Sys 1 is the temp that lead me to turn machine off and stop any further game testing (QPI/VTT adjustments)  I feel kinda dumb saying it read 212, because it sounds unbelievable to me!

I doubt very much that 212C was an accurate reading unless it was smoking well at the time. Probably just a malfunctioning sensor.

Hey Dark,

I exited ET6 and set my video card at 75% fan power and still no BSOD!  It may still be early though, believe I made it this long before I forget.

Im gonna enjoy some gaming and hope to get back with you @ Tuesday and maybe you can offer some suggestions/precautions!

Thanx Zip!

Hey Dark

I have yet to see any outlandish temps, but according to ET6 default setting's, temps are in excess.  (40C default)

I believe one good sign is evident, its a little warmer ambient temp right now, leading to the Sys temp reading 39.  Sys 1/2 appear to be at their same temps as earlier (48, 45).

Is there a chance you could provide a link/links that maybe covers settings/ temp guide for my board.  Would you be concerned if your Sys1 or Sys 2 temps were running mid to upper 40 C?

Edit:  While Im sitting here watching some E3 on Spike!  My system entered sleep mode for several minutes, clicked my mouse, System 1 sitting at 100 C...  I believe I know why I seen 212 earlier!

I exited ET6, and restarted it.  Temp showing 100, incidentally 100 appears max, because while the red is disappating some, still showing 100C/212F
