Hi all,
Just installed the Thermalright Silver Arrow in my NXZT Phantom case, both 140mm fans are PWM and connected to my GA-EX58-Extreme motherboard.
I've hooked up both fans to the 4 pin CPU header, and Sys_Fan2 4 pin header, set PWM control in BIOS.
Using AIDA64, I noticed that when I run Prime95, the CPU header fans RPMs increase, but the Sys_Fan2 fan doesn't.
So if I run prime, the RPM on the CPU header might rise to about 1000RPM, where as the Sys_Fan2 headers remain at 700RPM.
If I run both fans using Voltage, one fan runs at full speed, where as the other runs at low RPMs.
Is there anyway to make both PWM fans run at the same speed? Because currently, one is running via PWM and the other just stays at a constant speed.
I take it I'd have to either purchase a fan controller, or a Y-Splitter cable to connect both fans to the CPU header?
Any advice would be great.
