A few months ago I built myself a PC (my first one) and was thinking that I could just put a windows 8 hard drive I had lying around in it. All the hardware seems to work fine, but I have to run it with Linux because when I try to boot it with Windows 8 it gets stuck on the boot menu after detecting IDE drives, and says please insert an install disk. That was around March, but I gave up on it and said I would just buy windows 7 but before that I decided to give it one more Crack. I noticed that the manual doesn't have install instructions for Windows 8. Does that mean I can't run it? Help and suggestions appreciated!
