M8000X lift-off distance extremely high

I just got this mouse and I have to say I'm surprised how high the lift-off distance is for a gaming mouse. This really hinders FPS-gaming when you lift up the mouse to re-calibrate your crosshair position and the movement goes crazy.

Changing the lift-off distance is something you desperately need to add to your software, other mice like the Naos 5000 and Razer Imperator allow you to lower it via the drivers. Hopefully this is something you guys can fix in a firmware update.

There is no firmware update for this mouse. I also think this should be fixed in next version of software.

Hello,

the liftoff problem on my m8000x seems to be solved.
What i did :
=> assign PTP function to a mouse button
=> click this button => the mouse freeze (only X and Y moves)
=> unplug the mouse + plug
=> HOLD the profil button for 5 seconds as indicated here :
http://www.gigabyte.fr/support-downloads/faq-page.aspx?fid=1834&pid=3314

I've not yet restart the computer to see if i have the same problem as you, i'll tell you it ASAP.
Did anyone know exactly what this action (hold profile button) do ??

Regards
