X58 UD3R 2.0 Experience with Eco ALC temperatures?

I have the GA-X58A-UD3R v2.0 mobo, Fractal design R3 case with 3 fractal 1000rpm fans and an i7 920 CPU @ 2,67 ghz.
12GB RAM @1600mhz (std)

The temperatures I'm experiencing with the Coolit ECO A.L.C cpu cooler is in idle 50-52 degrees C, which should be 20 degrees lower.
The mobo temp is 35, and HDDs is about 28.
(im using Speccy, BIOS and HWmonitor to check temps)

The BIOS reports RPM for the pump at about 4000 and the fan 1800-1900. (and it is noisy, yes)
I have used the Artic MX2 (?) and reseated the actual CPU cooler and CPU.

Anyone have experience with Coolit or any similar products?

Well I haven't actually used the Cool-IT cooler system but I don't hold them in very high esteem. At best they are a toy cooler and are unreliable if they don't leak over your hardware that is! I really would suggest changing it for a decent air cooler if you don't want to get involved with serious watercooling devices. Something like a Noctua NH- D14 would be perfect and I am sure would drop your temperatures the twenty degrees that you are looking for.

THe other thing to check is that all your case fans are set as intake or extraction as they should be.

Anyone know how much noise it make? Since my computer's a DAW, it should be as less as possible...

I run the Noctua NH-D14 in my own rig (used as a DAW) and it is actually the quietest part of the system. To all intents and purposes it is silent, especially if you have a couple of case fans.

the main reason is that my ECO is just too loud, I suspect there is some issues with it cause both the Corsair and the Coolit is supposably known to be very quiet and effective (this is also confirmed from several DAW builders at the Cakewalk Sonar forum)

The temperatures have now stabilized in about 43-44 in idle - and under "pressure" its about 50 degrees. (repeating a large project for 2 hours)
But I cant handle the noise level...

Replaced my Coolit ECO A.L.C "pretend-to-be-watercooling-device" with a Noctua DH-D14 yesterday.

Enormous difference. Mostly in sound, I cant hear it. (the PSU is making more noise...)
Idle temps are about 3 degrees lower with the ultra silent profile (about 900rpm fan)

But also - the temperature under use is about 7 degrees lower. Just amazing.
