what is the difference between these 2 boards
« on: July 08, 2011, 02:27:58 pm »
Hi all,

What is the main difference between

Gigabyte GA-X58-USB3 Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard

and

Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard

Apart from the PCI-Express Slots.

Will they both allow a intel i7-950 to run and allow for oc, along with allowing 12 gig of ram in triple chan mode.

Thanks in advance

Phil

The UD3R will probably be more versatile depending on you needs and future-proofing
