GA-EX58-UD5 rev 1 compatibility with other Gigabyte motherboards ?

I use moderboard  GA-EX58-UD5 rev 1  on my first computer using sata2 and USB2. I want to buy a second computer with the same configuration ( win 7 64 bit, Intel i7 CPU 1366, ATI grafix, etc, same memory). Being difficult to find the same   GA-EX58-UD5 rev 1  my question is if there is some moderboard compatibility from other models with my GA-EX58-UD5 rev 1 . Being rev 2 of my old GA-EX58-UD5 rev 1  not compatible which model should I buy?. Whith compatibility I mean that I can reimage both computers from the same image backup.
Thanx & best regards

Hi and welcome.

To be honest I think you are going to be fighting a losing battle there if you expect to do an image of one computer and then use it for another as well. In theory I guess it would work but I think that especially with the time difference you would get all sorts of potential issues.

There are many motherboards that are similar in as much as running the X58 chipset and I am sure that you could find one that would be almost the same but that wouldn't be good enough to re-image from a seperate machine.

If the hardware is the same, there  shouldn't  be any problems, i guess.
