GA-X58A-UDR3 with RAID 5
« on: July 18, 2011, 07:55:33 pm »
I have the above board with a raid 5 setup on the intel chip.  My question is if i need to get the mobo replaced what will happen with all the data i have on my raid5?  Will i loose it or is there a way to keep the data when the new mobo arrives?

Thanks

I am not so familiar with RAID5 but with most of the RAID arrays as long as you keep the order of the disks and remount them on the new setup before booting into Windows they will be fine.
