intel z68A-D3H-B3 intel smart response technology not working, win 7 unbootable

i have bought a Gigabyte Z68A-D3H-B3 motherboard and am having some issues setting up SRT

I have a 2TB WDC SATA Green Drive and a 60GB OCZ agility 3 SSD.
I am running windows 7
i have updated the Bios since i enabled SRT from F4 to F6
intel rapid storage technology is at vernon 10.5.0.1034

windows ran fine until i enabled SRT in Enhanced mode using the Intel SRT program for windows and now the system shows DISK BOOT ERROR, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER message.

when going into the intel rapid storage technology menu by holding ctrl+I when booting, the raid volume (level RAID0(cache)) shows only the size of the SSD and also shows it's status as DISABLED in yellow text.

under physical devices it also shows the HDD as DISABLED, again in yellow text
however the SSD has a status of "cache disk(1)" which is written in Green text.

thanks.

Hi and sorry for the delay in replying.

My main trouble with this is that it is a very new technology and I am still waiting for my motherboard to be able to do some research. I only really know what I have read which is probably no more than you. Perhaps you could give us a little more information about your system especially the way it is configured.

You only have these two drives then ? the SSD and the WD Green ?

What have you got the Hard Disk Priority set to in the BIOS ?

its the first thing to boot from.

Oddly enough however, it now seems to work (having SRT enabled and being able to boot)
but i am unsure as i get an error message saying something about there being no hard drive to migrate to, and another error about having to get first 10.5 or higher (i do, and i have the latest version) when logging into my user

i do have SRT enabled and it also shows both disks as what they should be in the IRST menu (crtl + I in boot up)

i think i managed it by installing all the latest drivers from the gigabyte website and completely disabling SRT in the IRST menu then re-enabling it using the windows program.

Thanks for the update and I am glad to hear that it seems to be working now even if you have warnings. Maybe someone with the same board will be able to help out.
