My BSOD seems to be related to the AMD drivers for the A6-3650 11.7 drivers.  All specs and info below.

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit w/ Western Digital 2TB Caviar Green Hard Drive
AMD A6-3650 APU Bundle w/ Gigabyte GA-A75M-UD2H Motherboard
GSKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB PC3-12800 Dual Channel DDR3 Kit (2 x 4GB)
Antec Three Hundred Versatile Mid Tower Gamer Case
OCZ 500W ModXStream Pro SLI Ready Power Supply

Those are the specs.

Clean Instal, getting a BSOD with a 124 fault.

AHCI was enabled in bios upon install of windows.
I memtested the ram for 4 hours with no errors.
Prime95 the CPU didnt get upove 68
No overclock, all stock. All drivers installed off the montherboard DVD.
Updated to latest bios.

Note. Ram defaulted to 11-11-11-26-2t when it should be 9-9-9-24-2t. I have tried with both timings, and same results.

I have lost the dump, as I just reformatted with AHCI dissabled and IDE mode being used. But I will supply when (if) bluescreens again.

I have tried just using 1 stick of ram, then the other, in different ram slots....same result.

No additional software installed.
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen

Any help will be apprecaited.

Updated Info.

Have tried different Hardrives - problem remains
Have tried different ram configurations - problem remains
have tried switching cables from vga to dvi - problem remains
Have tried Latest bios - problem remains
Have tried all latest drivers - problem remains******

***** uninstalling the Amd a6-36xx series drivers 11.7 and they system doesnt BSOD.

Does that make this a Driver/Motherboard/or APU fault?

Hi there,

it would seem to me that the problem is with the latest ATI Drivers , especially if you are not getting the BSOD's with the 11.6 version.

Actually, I'm not using 116 as they don't have support for the a6-3650. I'm just using windows default drivers.

Have you tried updating the Chipset to the latest BETA version? You can download it from here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3928&dl=1#dl

You mention getting the 124 fault earlier. Well that is indicative of incorrect QPI/Vtt voltage, sometimes too high and sometimes too low. It would certainly be worth checking that out anyway.

Well it now bsod without the amd drivers installed. I'm bringing g the mobo and CPU back to swap.
if that doesn't fix it, I will swap the ram,

Yeah, it was a 124 fault code.

I said screw it, and swapped the mobo and cpu for another one (same models) and so far so good.

I may never know which it was......and im surely I dont care  ;D

Thanks for the help people. I will revive this thread if I have another problem.

Solution was to stop looking for the problem, and replace the hardware. I was still within my timeframe to deal with the local Computer store with no hassles on the swap.

Pleased you got it sorted, even if you weren't able to find the cause.

I agree! I think it was merely the QPI/Vtt that needed tweaking in the BIOS but as long as you are sorted now that is the main thing.  ;)
