GA-X58A-UD3R Boot Sequence Question for Win 7 USB Install
« on: July 30, 2011, 10:16:10 pm »
I have my USB flash drive loaded with Win 7 pro prepared with The MS Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool.  I prefer to use it instead of a DVD.

My question is which bios option do I choose from the options below?
Options are: Floppy, LS120, Hard Disk, CDROM, ZIP, USB-FDD, USB-ZIP, USB-CDROM, USB-HDD, Legacy LAN, Disabled.

It would be an easy decision if one of the choices was USB flash drive or even just plain USB.

I am guessing USB-HDD or maybe USB-FDD but need confirmation. Thanks

You might well find that you need to enable USB Legacy Storage and USB Legace Devices in the BIOS first.
