Try talking to Gigabyte Australia and they can probably help yopu by repairing your CPU socket. Even though this may be a customer damage or not as it is impossible to tell many Gigabyte centres will help out on a one off basis. Ask them and see how you stand. It is not an uncommon problem as the pins are very fragile and easilly bent.
