« on: August 06, 2011, 10:55:19 am »
hey
well ive been adding a soundcard to my computer, and was having a few issuses and noted my temps and volts while asking for help on a forum, they where:
Vcore = 1.268V
DDR15V = 1.632V
+3.3V = 3.376V
+5V = 4.972V
+12V = 12.112V
System temp = 42
CPU temp = 61
MCH temp = 44

all ok (cpu a lil high maybe)

but then the next day i noticed my rear case fan was stopping after the POST. and looking around in the bios trying to get it working i noticed these really werid volts and temps

i do have the rear fan working now using a fan to 4 pin molex connector but its still got the same readings (sometimes the MCH temp goes to + 120 ish but reast dont change) any ideas on this?

o yes and using a GA-EX58-UD3R 1.6
other system info
i7 920 (@3.20 but even when at defult 2.40 i get the same)
Asus GTX 580
6GB DDR3 RAM
Asus Xonar Essence ST
1TB 7,200RPM 64MB

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

I think the first thing we need to know is what case are you using and what fans does it have in what configuration ?

Is it a new build or older ? If older how old ?

When troubleshooting a temperature problem it is better to return everything to stock values.

What is your ambient temperature where the computer is ?

What make and model of power supply do you have installed ?
