Why is GA stingy with IGP ports on Z68

Hi,

Are the z68 XP models newer than the z68 B3 models..ie released after the B3 models..

==

Why the hell did GA become so stingy and only give one hdmi port on the XP models..
I would have prefer it if u give DVI and hdmi and maybe another hdmi/dvi or display port etc.., you can get rid of D-Sub cos that is not used much these days.

Many of us have gaming consoles that require the hdmi port, which we want to connect to our LCD monitors..

As a result, in the past I always liked GA boards cos they were feature pack but with Z68, you guys sure stuff up this time..
First with the hasty release of Z68 boards without IGP port, which was the whole point of Z68..

And now releasing XP boards with only just a HDMI port.

Yes there maybe hdmi to Dvi, but then it would mean we need to
1. buy it,
2. we need to add another cumbersome addon to the cable. And since hdmi doesn't have screw locks, it could easily get bent over time cos it is heavier.
3. Also we can't do dual monitors using the igp etc.

As a result
Brands such as ASrock extreme 4, and extreme 4 gen 3 are looking more feature and value pack.
They give even give u a usb 3.0 header and backpanel for usb 3.0 header..

When will we see GA boards become more feature and value pack, like the X58a-ud3r..etc..which I bought last time..

I must agree with you on the lack of use of the on chip graphics thatwas missing on certain Z68 boards and that the D-sub could be replaced with a DVI port. Personaly I also find some of the boards a bit lacking on PCIE slots. A lot only have two large ones and I have a pair of GPUs and a PCIE SSD card so two slots just isn't enough.
