hello there mates .... i  build my new gaming desktop 2 days ago ... i just notice that the post screen logo not fits in my screen, how's that ? ... by the way im using 20inches led monitor with dvi to vga adapter ... ( out of budget to buy Full HD monitor ).. and i have Kingston HyperX Genesis 4gb kit @1600mhz CL9 ... but my board make it 1333mhz ... and when i turn off my computer a couple hours then when i open it after the bootscreen im having a BSOD .. i hope someone can help me up of this situation ... anyways this is my whole system Specs:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5
Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T @2.8Ghz Stock
Ram: Kingston HyperX Genesis 4GB 2gbx2 kit 1600Mhz CL9
Video Card: Sapphire 6850 1gb
Power Supply: Corsair GS 700watts

I'm not really sure why you are having these problems as I haven't encountered them on my own GA-990FXA-UD5.

To answer the question about RAM speed it will be set at 1333MHz by default and is the standard for AMD processors. You might like to check through this thread: http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,2515.0.html for more information about this.

Checking your RAM Spec's I would think these are the cause of your BSOD's as the voltage will be set at 1.5V by default and you may need to increase the voltage to 1.65V for stability. It is also worth running MemTest to make sure that your RAM isn't faulty. Even though the sticks are new this could be an issue and is worth eliminating.

I always disable the Show Full Screen Logo option in BIOS as I like to see what is happening during POST but I haven't noticed it not fitting the monitor screen properly but, I have my main monitor connected via DVI not VGA and this may be the reason.

Might want to download cpu z and go thru memory timings manually to make sure it is set to what manufacture specs are and i might add unganged seems to work better than ganged.
