GA-880GM-UD2H - Very odd problem

Hi guys, i am posting here because i really don't know what else should i do...

Couple of months ago, i bought AMD Phenom X4 955 black edition, but since it couldn't work on my AM2 mobo, i bought GA-880GM-UD2H rev 1.4, and that's when the problems started.

I installed the X4 on new mobo, but the computer just didn't start. No sounds, no lights, no beeps, nothing. I brought it over to a friend where we tried stronger psu and some memory combinations, but to no avail. Finally, i brought the whole rig to the guys that sold me the mobo, and a day later they told me that they have tried another cpu on the mobo and it worked. When they put my cpu back, it worked too. I took the rig home, and everything worked fine for a couple of months.

Few days ago i bought a new chassis, and upon moving all the components to it, the same problem arised! Since i had an old 650w CM psu with no 2x4 pin connectors, i even bought a new power supply, and connected 2x4 pin cpu connectors, but that solved nothing.

Here's what i tried:

I dismantled and put together again the rig a couple of times, tried removing the components one by one, no results
I tried turning on the computer by connecting the power switch pins with a screwdriver, no results
Tested the PSU by connecting the green and the ground wire on 20 pin connector with only chassis fans connected, works fine, with all fans powered up
Tried changing 3 power cables in different rooms, both through apc 5-way surgeprotect and without it, nothing

I really don't know what else i should try, bios should not be the problem i guess, the mobo gets no power at all, but, according to the guys that made it work in the first place, and after a couple of months of use, it is ok.

did you try putting it all back in the other and see if it worked, cleared bios, make sure bios is up to date. Use ram in first two slots only then if it still doesnt boot try the ram in the other two slots. Process of elimanation.

As your problems all started (this time anyway) when you changed it over to a new case I would suggest trying to build it outside of the case as it could be a short to earth that is causing the problem.

The next thing is to remove the motherboard from the case and test it on the workbench.

Make sure that you observe anti-static precautions.

Lay some cardboard or use the motherboard box that is non-conductive on the worktop and remove the motherboard/CPU/heatsink/fan/buzzer/one stick of memory/graphics card and PSU from the case and put it on the cardboard. Add the keyboard and mouse and try and boot. The system should try and make a beep or series of beeps. Please post what sounds it makes.

Yes, i cleared the bios, and tried all of the memory combinations.

edit:

Ok, i connected tthe mobo with one stick of memory in the first slot, buzzer, cpu with heatsink and a fan, graphics card, keyboard, and mouse, and started the machine. All it gives is a non stop beep.

When trying to start it without the graphics card and no memory, it gives me four long beeps.

edit 2:

I tried removing the graphics card, and connecting the monitor to the onboard graphics, and it gives one short beep, as if everything is ok, and starts booting up (but it cant finish it without the hard drives, of course).

edit 3:

When i put the graphics card back in (with monitor still connected to the onboard graphics), it starts booting up, but the continuous beeps occurs again.

Ok, one more edit. Since the PSU is modular, i tried connecting the graphics to the psu, and now it starts booting with only one ok beep. I'll try adding the next memory modules.

I've put all the memory modules back, everything still fine. I'll try putting it back in the chassis.
