The FVB Bios for the GA X58A Ud3R Ver 1.0 board is only on the Tweaktown web site.
This is the only Bios that has the fix for the electrical noises and is not incorporated into the later Bios Versions for this board. This is as stated By Gigabyte Support.

Upgrade and lose fix or do not upgrade. ?
FVB Bios dated 06/04/2010 is only Bios available.

Hello folks, i updated to the uefi beta bios, i got the z68xp ud3p Rev.1, many functions are disabled (most of them) i can't get my 3570k past 3.9, any updates for this board? i just got my Ivy bridge yesterday and without the overclock my system is now in many ways slower than my old 2500k one.
Anyways thanks very much!  :)

For the Z68-UD7 owners...

I contacted GIGABYTE, and I was told that within the next few days, there is going to be released a new BIOS (didn't answer me whether UEFI or not), with full Ivy Bridge support.

Updated to F11j on my GA-X79-UD7, pleased to report that it solved many issues I was having including not being able to access BIOS from my USB keyboard and Marvell controller not properly initializing ports 8 and 9 resulting in a frozen boot.

Highly recommend anyone with this board obtain this Beta BIOS and install.

Hey guys,

I have updated my BIOS to "Z68XP-UD4 - U1B". Since updating I now cannot get into the BIOS. Sometimes it kinda loads and you will get half of the screen. But then it sits there and you cant do anything.

I cant get to the boot list either as thats within the BIOS. I have tried flashing back using FLASHEFI and SPI and they both say this isnt a Gigabyte board, @BIOS says the same.

My Mobo Currently

My Mobo and CPU before the update

Any help is appriciated.

Hi

I think that your BIOS might have been corrupted when you ran the update. Did you use @BIOS for the task ?

Try doing this to get back to your old BIOS.

To restore the Main BIOS by flashing from the Backup BIOS you simply follow these steps but be aware timing is crucial so it may take a few attempts.

You can kick in the backup BIOS by shutting down the PSU from the wall, then hold down your case power button in and then turn on the power supply button, a few seconds later the board will start, shut off the power supply then.   Then you can turn on the power supply again and power up the board normally and DualBIOS will kick in.

If you still have problems then :

Boot from the second BIOS, if you can't boot to windows on the main one, then ALT+F10 on startup from the second BIOS on a reboot from windows, this will reflash the MAIN BIOS with the backup BIOS you'd be booting from.

Thanks,

Tried the steps you mentioned.
Power off at the PSU,
hold down power button,
turn PSU back on
Power starts and then the goes off.
Power off the PSU
Release the power button.
Power on the PSU
boot into BIOS.

Got a message saying my BIOS was corrupt and it went through some repair thing. Rebooted the PC but still have the new BIOS and still have the same problem.

I didnt use @BIOS for the upgrade. I used FLASHEFI booted from a USB.

Thanks ex58, that worked great I am back to the old BIOS now.

I tried flashing back to the new one, but get the same problem as before. Part loads the screen but is frozen. At least I can get back to the old one now.

@ HoboJoe720

After the completion of BIOS flash you have to remove AC power to restart the system again. - quoted from txt file with bios. have you done it?
