I am very happy with the  prices and the quality of the Gigabyte motherboards. I will be using them in many future builds so you will definitely see us on here. All of the students are asking for computer components for the holidays and they are really interested in building custom computers for the games they play. Once again thanks for the help and we will see you on the next build.  ;D

Glad to hear that everything went alright and that you have a group of new Gigabyte fans out there all ready to start building their own systems.  It is by far the best way to learn and become proficient. They are always welcome on the forum for advice if they need any.  ;)

hi eddie is there a chance you can do me a favor and int the bios set the on-chip frame buffer size to 480 + 2MB GTT and see if it boots?  you can change it back if it doesn't.  I have the same motherboard as you but my fails (extremely slow over 5 min) to boot when the buffer size is 480.  I was wondering if it was the motherboard or maybe something else.

I have Z68X-UD3H-B3 w/F10 BIOS and will check a) my default settings and b) try that value and see how it impacts boot time. I am working a different issue in another thread I started (16Gb Corsair Vengeance - fixed in replacement board but NO rear panel audio - hoping it is a setting I missed/spaced out seeing and changing...but not holding my breath for that).
