motherboard issues?
« on: December 08, 2011, 11:39:13 am »
got this message this morning:

not sure why. Also, the pc sometimes keeps rebooting at the bios screen. I haven't updated it recently so it should all be fine. I got a BSOD last night which messed up my windows installation - not sure if the motherboard is failing?

Hi

I would say what has happened is that the Main BIOS on the motherboard has got corrupted and so it is reflashing it from the Backup BIOS which is exactly what it is meant to do in those circumstances.
Why and how it got corrupted is another matter but as long as the reflash works you should be back in business.
