random crashes with G1 Guerrilla

any thoughts to my problems? Just upgraded from an EVGA X58 SLI3 board to the G1 Guerrilla and pc has random crashes
SPec: i920
Mem: 12 GB Corsair DOminator 1600 9-9-9-24
Gtx580 X 2 in SLI
WIn 7 Ultimate 64 bit
PSU: Enermark 1050w 85%
Custom Water cooled loop- I have had this for about 18 mths with no issues at all and have managed to run the i920 stably @ 4.2GHZ for 18 mths with noissues at all

BIOS flashed to 4d- latest showing on site

I have tried overclocking, optimal and fail safe settings ans still get randon crashes- pc won't boot sometimes

Have you tested the memory with Memtest?

Hi,

You can also install Memtest on a pendrive......scroll down until you see "Download - Auto - installer for USB key (Win 9x/2k/xp/7)".


Put 1 RAM module in slot 1

If you install this on a 2gb pendrive formatted to FAT 32...plug it in to the rear USB header...... and..... keep pressing F12 when you boot up and then select the drive from the menu.

Memetest will start automatically.....allow for 10 passess / cycles for each RAM module.

Ensure that everything is connected properly.....safety first when it concerned with electricity.

THanks for that _ I will try it if I can't get the iso burnt onto a disc
I have also remembered that I think I have some Crucial DDR3 sims I could try if I can just find them!

I am unable to run any stability test or memtest as pc crashes before I can run anything- I also can't boot into BIOS at all

Have you tried just assembling the main components:

CPU

RAM - 1 stick

GPU

Remove the power cable from the mains supply and then press the power switch on the case for a few seconds just to drain any residual energy in the PSU capacitors.                        
                        
Once done remove the motherboard battery for at least one hour before replacing it.                        
                        
Next plug back into the mains supply and boot.                        
                        
You will now need to enter the BIOS by pressing DEL and load Optimised BIOS Defaults.                        
                        
Make any other changes to the BIOS settings to suit your self like disabling the floppy drive, disabling the full screen logo and making the HDD the primary boot device and then press F10 to save and exit.                        

As you cannot establish as of yet whether the components are good perhaps buying some more compatible memory or a get your psu tested might be worth considering.

Ensure that everything is connected properly.....safety first when it concerned with electricity.

I think it looks as if it is the memory- I have managed to get the machine to boot with one stick and a single gtx580 powered but the machine runs soooo slowly that I can't run any memtests or anything- I have ordered some crucial ram that is definately compatible with the g1 guerrilla- according to their website so will have to wait until it turns up

It would help a lot and make things somewhat clearer if you posted the BSOD STOP code you get when it crashes.

Also did you clean out the cooling loop and use fresh water/coolant when you did the rebuild ?

I did a complete loop clean and refil of coolant as I always do when changing a component
I have not been getting BSOD just the machine turning off and restarting
I will not be able to check for a week or so due to holidays as waiting on new ram t check
