GA-890GPA-UD3H HANG ON BOOTUP OR RELOADING OS RAID OR IDE/SATA

GA-890GPA-UD3H HANG ON BOOTUP OR RELOADING OS RAID OR IDE/SATA
« on: January 02, 2012, 06:33:35 pm »
Ga-890gpa-ud3h ver2.0 bios FF  cpu BE x4 975amd, win7 ultimate,raid striping wd1tb's,graid normal, g-skull f3-12800cl9q-16gbzl clock 1333mhz, ran memory test all ok,

On a bios restart or full cold restart, or reloading from fresh formatted drive,Clean by diskpart, I get a "LOADING OPERATING SYSTEM" hang in black screen after bios, weather from raid or reg ide/sata,, then if going to start from CD/DVD would be my next option for a reload of OS. I have tried numerous resets of bios, erase raid, removed drives scaned on other PC,reconfigured, diskpart, diskpar, clean repartioned, realigned but only when booting on this board this option shows up and hangs.
Has anyone else seen this from this board?

I have had numerous GA boards and this is the first to have this hang.

WHEN REG IDE SEE THE WD'S FINE, BOOT FROM SHOWS OK,,in first boot,

Go back to basics build with just what you need. raid drives and 1 cd drive , processor, just 1 stick of ram and just 1 monitor. Video card if you have to. Load windows 7 then fully update before you add the rest, this always works for me if i have a conflict.  Kinda of pain but everytime i reformatt thats what i have to do.

You didnt mention model and size of psu make sure it big enough and make sure no overclock till you are done.
