990FXA-UD3 rev 1.1 with 3.1 Bulldozer not working with select Steam games.

I am using the beta bios version F6f.

Certain Steam games like Serious Sam 3 and Total War Shogun 2 are not starting and instead bluescreening or out right turning off and restarting my computer.  I have searched many boards and this seems to be a problem with Bulldozer yet other motherboards like Asus have released new bios versions that remedy this situation.

Will Gigabyte release a new bios?  Should I take the motherboard back and try a different manufacturer?

currently running the bulldozer AMD-FX6100 3.3 on the GA-990FXA-UD3 ( rev 1.0 ) was playing shogun total war last night for around an hour, hour and a half, no issue, was playing dead island earlier.

I'm running F6f but I did update from F1 to F2 to F3 and so on rather than jumping direct to F6f and reset my bios by removing the battery once they where all installed.

Have you overclocked your CPU, what temps is it running at?

what graphics card are you running and have you updated the drivers for it?
