Hi
I can't say I know for sure but I wouldn't be surprised if the LGA2011 motherboards will have UEFI. Gigabyte has been using the hybrid version to "cut their teeth" on so they must be ready by now to intitute the full blown version now.

I purchased a H61M-USB3-B3 board, and while it appears to have an old fashioned BIOS, it will only boot Microsoft operating systems.
It failed SCO Unix, SUSE linux, Puppylinux and Fatdog64. Windows Server 2008R2 did work. I didn't try XP.
