My 4870X2 died after nearly 3 years, and Gigabyte replaced it with a 6870OC model.
Later, I bought another 6870C so that I could CF them.
I have found that one card has an F20 Bios and the other had a F3 Bios which I flashed up to the F5 Bios.
I only flashed the Bios as I was having problems with BF3 and that was one of the suggestions by EA support....to update to a new Bios.
Just wondering why the same model cards have a different Bios, as I am a novice about these things.
As it happens, the fault with the crashing of the game had nothing to do with a Bios update, but it's done now anyway..

Can anyone clue me in as to the different Biosessesss...thanks.
