Hey there again guys. I am just having small issue with which slots to put my 2x4gb sticks into this to get the dual channel mode :)
CPU Z says I have them in slot 3 and 4. it is reporting they are in dual channel mode (however according to the gigabyte manual they are on the same channel so it cant be in dual channel lol (my head is spinning)
but on the board I am running them in slot ddr3_1 and slot ddr3_2

its a weird setup this is looking straight above
the far right one with this ^ is called ddr3_1
the next one with the * is called ddr3_3
the next one with % is called ddr3_2
the one on the far left with a # is called ddr3_4

so my sticks are in the
slot ^
slot %

slot #                   Slot %                         Slot  *                        Slot  ^

Then another question is the manual then says
channel 0: DDR3_2, DDR3_4
channel 1: DDR3_1, DDR3_3

Then a paragraph later it then says due to CPU Limitations , read the following guidlines before installing memory blah blah blah
1. you need 2 memory sticks to utilize dual channel mode
2. when enabling dual channel mode with 2 or 4 memory sticks , they reccomend it be same brand etc etc.
FOR OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE WE RECCOMEND YOU INSTALL THEM IN DDR3_1 and DDR3_2 sockets  ROFL so in the span of 1 page it has told me 3 different configs to get dual channel mode. WHAT THE FFFFFF XXX

So everyone. which slots should I put them in for the "dual Channel mode"
I thank you all for being there :) its appreciated

I pick slots 1 and 2 if cpuz is reporting dual channel then it is correct.
