It would be nice, but I haven't seen that for years, you either get them with a case or buy on the cheap elsewhere

No, they seem to have disappeared in some cost cutting along the way. At one time the case manufacturer used to supply them but that was generally when they were in the actual moving coil speaker format as they changed over to solid state devices the motherboard manufacturer took over the supply but then they seemed to think we could do without them.  :-\

Well, i bought a case speaker today and nothing, not even a single beep... only those 2 leds. I already took the cpu away to check the pin connectors and they are all good. Any ideas?

If you have purchased a solid state beeper like Lsdmeasap shows then it is polarity conscious, in other words it will only function one way around.

I bought the exact same speaker lsdmeasap posted. Tried both ways and still nothing. It goes with the "Speaker" labeled part downside, right?

Not necessarilly, but usually there is a small + printed on the plastic of the circular buzzer denoting the positive cable. Failing that there might be a triangle stamped on the connector above the positive side.

Be sure you are connecting it to the correct place on the header

If you are, and there is no beeps, then you need to remove the board from the case and get it OFF the motherboard tray, then test it on a wooden table or cardboard box.   If no luck there, then you need to show us some images of your CPU socket, please take these in a well lit room with no flash.  Use Macro mode on your camera and take the images from an angle, and do not zoom in too close.

And if you can, test booting with your memory and graphics card in another computer to be sure those are all working.

Well, the weirdest thing just happened... After reconnecting everything I tried to power it up again, and guess what... it went BOOOOM! one of the psu's capacitors exploded. I'm thinking that the psu was bad from the beginning. I'm going to buy a new one and keep you guys up to date! Thank you sooooooo much for your replys!!!

Ouch!  Terrible to hear, hopefully ONLY the PSU was damaged!   Ultra does have a quick RMA service, but they like to charge you card while they wait on the faulty one to arrive, but sometimes they ship out a new one with no hassles.

Please try to find a friend or family member, who will let you test or test for you, so you can test your CPU and memory to be sure they did not get fried.   Also, if you can test your board somewhere too just to be sure it's OK

Yes, I would agree with Lsdmeasap in as much as more often than not if the PSU goes tits up it usually takes some other components with it. Pain, but that is the way it is. That is why we always advise purchasing a good quality PSU from a respected manufacturer. :-\

I like Ultra Power supplies, but only certain models and series.   Like X7 750W, or X3 any model 750-1000+

Still rocking X3 850W here and I push it HARD!!  X4 series look very cheaply made, and the last review I looked at for them by JohnnyGuru said about the same I believe
