Then go into disk management, and assign the drive a latter again if it still does not have one after the chipset update.

As for your scanner, did you try installing driver in XP mode, in windows 7?  That may help.  If not, and you want to try to get it working in windows 7 please give me the full exact model and I'll see if I can find you correct drivers that have been proven to work in windows 7.

IDE mode is not needed at all for the SATA controller, and I suggest you switch that to AHCI as mentioned above.  You will need to do exactly as I mentioned before you change it to AHCI.

That BSOD means you need more Vcore!

As for your scanner, they say it works here in windows 7 x64, see the last post here for how to set it up!
http://www.sevenforums.com/drivers/27861-hp-scanjet-5470c-3.html

Also, I know if that does not work, you can install XP 32 bit drivers, in compatibility mode as that's 32 bit mode anyway, and that should work as well as mentioned on page one of that thread above, and here
http://www.fixya.com/support/t4049906-scanjet_5470c_windows_7

I know if I was there I could get it working for you, but not sure if you'll be able to yourself if the above doesn't help.  I'd be able to modify drivers for you, but I'd have to be there in person so I could look at device ID's, other .dll's an such.

Very Thanks for your help.
scanner hope it works on windows 7
Long ago I checked into this forum but when I installed Windows 7 I read a lot about not working and there were no drivers.
I did not think in the idea of the forum.

The Scanner works well with Windows Virtual PC in Windows 7, but before I need to activate USB and not directly with the aplication...

Since it works in virtual PC, then you can probably install using XP compatibility mode, or do as mentioned on one of those links with the virtual PC USB hack.

To fix the 0x101 BSOD, you need to increase your Vcore (CPU Voltage)

I don't know
I don't know how I'll do it. (in google I bring the  steps)
How  much I increase Vcore?

Thanks

You're welcome!  And no worries, I'm always happy to help, so don't think I'm not!

What do you have Vcore set on now, auto?  It's in the BIOS, in the MIT section.

You'll have to tell me what Vcore you are using now, if it's auto please post an image of CPU-z and Easytune, tuner tab / advanced voltages.

CPU-z is here

Easytune is here

Thanks and sorry for my late reply too! :)   Don't be scared, it will be ok!   Have you had the same BSOD anymore lately?

try setting vcore to 1.29-1.3 and see if that helps.  However, I see another issue, you only have 2GB of memory working!

Can you please test each stick one at a time with Memtest86+, for at least 5 passes
http://www.memtest.org/#downiso

If they both work fine, then you may need to adjust QPI/Vtt voltage, or you may have damaged CPU socket pins

With the BIOS update has not happened again, I still think that happens by the low energy that comes to my house.

With hibernation does not recognize the HDD connected to IDE
Thanks.

Nice to hear you have not seen the issue again.

You need to sort out the memory issue (only 2GB in use) I mentioned, did you do any of what I suggested yet?

Very thanks Lsdmeasap

The PC works normally now, I didn't know what was the problem, but now works well.

I have 2 HDD
SATA with 3 Partition Windows XP and Windows 7 x64 and files
IDE ATA for files

when I suspend the PC in both SO, IDE didn't work

I delete Windows XP and I can hibernate my PC normally because when I run windows another time it works well.

is unexplained

Thanks a lot.
