Strangely, after replacing with GA-P67A-UD7-B3 motherboard, this particular WD external hard disk, My Book Essential, could not be detected. Clicking on my computer and right click on Manage, then Disk Management, the filesys showned is in UDF whilst the rest of other connected external hard disks are in NTSF.
USB cable and power cable is working fine as it had been pluged to other external hard disks and they are responding well. But, using other USB cable and power supply cable, this particular external WD hard disk still could not be detected.
However, when the WD ext. hard disk is connected to another computer, it could be detected with all the recorded files. All my computers are running in Win 7 32bit home edition OS.
Suspected that there is some incompatible signal from the motherboard that prevent the ext. WD hard disk been detected.
Any advise?
Thanks
