3rd monitor going blank and back uring game

I;ve finally got my mini display port to DVI adapter.
First problem I had to use DVI to HDMI adapter on top of that one so I can connect monitor to card, because monitor got vga and hdmi input.
After that everything works UNTIL I start game on all 3 monitors and then monitor that is hooked up on mini display port over hdmi and adapter is going blank and back from time to time, no rules at all.
And that is happening while in game only.
While out in windows everything works fine.
Now getting really disappointed and mad
first there was no any mini display port to dvi adapters with card, then after waiting for 2 weeks got cables then needed additional adapter from dvi to hdmi to connect monitor to card. and now this.
Any ideas what could be wrong here please?

I think where you are going wrong is that to work properly on three monitors one of the outputs must be the display port. Now it is possible to use that port and then an adapter to make it compatible with your monitor, but it must be an active adapter a passive on won't do.

I;ve solved it!
I;ve got 2 active adapters.
But when I had mini display port -> active adapter to DVI -> DVI to HDMI adapter -> hdmi cable -> monitor I had those blanks out.
But today I've got one more DVI to HDMI adapter second one and by mnistake it was female not male, so I changed order and when I got
mini display port -> active adapter to DVI -> DVI cable -> DVi to HDMI adapter -> monitor
it works )
a lot of cables and adapters in between but basicly after active adapter comes cable then adapter to moitor, isntead of adapter to cable into monitor and it works now...

Well I am glad to hear that the problem is solved now  and that it was because of the active adapters even if there were too many !

Wouldn't even had a problem if my monitors got DVI but got only VGA and 2 HDMIs so.. oh well
FINALY got my 3 monitors all up and running and mass effects 3 runs great on a single 7970
got strange thing with battle field tho.. it is like ESC and arrow is pressed all the time but shouldn';t have anything to do with eyefinity I guess. posted on their forums so waiting for reply there as well.

There have been a few issues with BF3. Most I think have been sorted now with patches etc . I haven't heard of this particular one though.

What you were saying about the VGA ports etc has had me interested for a while now. When so many GPUs have Display Ports as an output and especially if you want to run Eyefinity that there are so many monitors that don't support it. In fact trying to find one is really difficult.

well hopefully one day they will have something for monitors and GPUs like USB is for other stuff. One standard to rule them all

Things like this can really annoy.. big difference just in order of adapters. adapter cable monitor don;t work, cable adapter monitor work... after active adapter order...
oh well good thing is that it works.
Will have to test out BF3 without definitive as well to see if that is problem or something else gone weird.
