Possible Graphics Card Problem?

Possible Graphics Card Problem?
« on: April 12, 2012, 03:41:56 am »
So I'm building my PC, and I did an external build before I put in my case. I plugged everything in, but when I turn it on, when it gets to the boot error (which is because i have no operating system) the monitor has horizontal lines of green and vertical lines of orange. Could this be cause by a faulty graphics card? What can I do to fix it?

I'm using a Radeon 6850 by the way.

Hi

I don't think that it is a problem as such with the graphics card more likely it is either the PSU is underpowered or it is simply that the drivers aren't loaded or something like that. Load your operating system, install the drivers and then try again.

Please post a list of your hardware and what is already installed so far.
