hi all
i need to contact gigabyte about RMA'ing my board. ive started a technical request but its been marked as solved and now i cant start another question.
i bought this board for the sole reason of upgrading to an fx cpu which i tried to do the other day. after flashin the bios my troubles started. this board can no way support an fx cpu  all the options in the bios r either missing or dont function. when in windows the clock speeds constantly bounce between 1.4, 1.8, 2.0, 3.3 and 3.6Ghz. no matter what settings r changed in the bios it will not work. the only way to stop the clocks bouncing is to disable turbo core in amd overdrive averytime windows starts. after spending days reading forums/blogs and anythin else i could find on this issue i found that this board with the 880g chipset could never run a fx cpu without problems.
could anyone tell me how to contact gigabyte in the uk please.
any help is much apreciated. thanks

Hi and welcome.

What you are asking about is GGTS and they can be contacted here :

GGTS   http://ggts.gigabyte.com/

http://uk.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/support-downloads.aspx

Please expect several days for a reply.

Can you tell me how you actually flashed the BIOS though. Did you use QFlash the BIOS utility or did you fall into the trap of using @BIOS through Windows ?

Hi there,

not that I'm doubting you but can you confirm your motherboard as I can only find a rev 3.1 for your model?

Which FX processor are you trying to use?

Also, as DM has already asked, which method of updating the BIOS did you use and which BIOS version are you running now?
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

hi cheers for ur reply's
sorry for the arsey post its not aimed at u folks  :-[
it is the 880GA-UD3H  rev 3.1 and the cpu was the fx 6100  and noooo it didnt try n flash it in windows lol. i used q flash to flash it to fgf which went without any hickups. i bought a new board because it just wouldnt run stable at all. the only thing i could do was disable turbo core with amd overdrive to lock it at 3.3.
