Ram overclocking problem
« on: February 22, 2013, 08:53:30 am »
Hi guys today i built my new pc and i just wanted to overclock my Ram's but when i
press save and exit in bios the pc restarts and upon starting, bios pop's a window saying:

Boot failure detected
'' The system has experienced a boot failure possibly due to incorrect configuration.
Previous settings in BIOS may not be compatible with current hardware state . ''

Current CPU speed : 3800 Mhz
Current BClk : 100 Mhz
Current memory speed : 1333 Mhz

My specs :

MotherBoard: MB GBT Z77X-D3H
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570 - 3.4GHz
Memory: Kingston Predator Series XMP 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3, 2400MHz
Gpu: Gtx 560 Cuda DDR 5
PSU: 500 W

Everything is running fine i just want to use the full potential of my Ram which is 2400 please help me :C .
The thing that i tried is to update bios to a different versions like : bios F16 , Bios F17i , Bios F17f .
Please if you have any knowledge about how to fix this problem tell me i will be grateful :] .

I'm only trying to overclock my ram's to 2400 Mhz which both my motherboard and ram's support.
I don't need to Oc Cpu cause it runs fine on 3.8 Ghz.

For any further help i thank you !

One more thing upon the restart  after setting the ram values the pc turns off after on ,again off and on after it pops the mentioned window above.
