Problem with F10 on Z68X-UD4

I am using this motherboard for 8 months and so far i never had any problems with it. Lately i decided to upgrade my bios version from f9 to f10 using @bios and a problem came with it. My soundcard now (Auzentech prelude connected with pci) had a 50% chance on start up not being able to boot, there is blinking led that was static which means that the card doesnt boot and was only working after 2-3 restarts. So i am trying for weeks to figure what was going on cause the problem happened after 2-3 days on bios update.
I have tried everything like 1)clean remove/install drivers(even cd ones), use another slot and giving the soundcard to a friend that solved the issue and made me believe that the sound card was oki.
In the end i decided to revert back my bios update(to f9) cause it was the only chance i have made on my computer since the problem. 4 days now and no problem so far. So how a bios update can mess up the booting progress so much?
