Problems with Bigfoot Killer E2100 on G1.Assassin mobo.

Hello everyone,
I have bought G1.Assassin mobo just recently. I installed fresh win7 SP1 x64 OS , installed drivers and now every time when i reboot i get "The LSP was not mapped correctly, Do you want ot re-map LSP? " After i click yes the network manager turns off , then when i run it again the same dialog popups and now when i click yes it stays on but if i restard same thing will happen.I tried Gigabyte driver and the newest driver from bigfoot site and both have same issues. This happens when i restart the network manager application too. Additionally the network manager application management doesnt work entirely - You can set anything there and it doesnt have any effect on working applications and it doesnt show the bandwidth which the processes are using. I am using Dlink DIR-655 gbit router connected to the DSL .

Additionally i also did firmware update from the latest driver folder but it didint help. I hope You will help me resolve the issue.

EDIT: I use F3 Bios , Also tried F4A but no diffrence.
EDIT2: I dont use ANY anti-virus software.

I really don't think that the problem with your Bigfoot Lan chip is going to be your major concern for long if you don't use an anti-virus program.

I am not that familiar with the Bigfoot Lan chip but I think it might be worth checking if some sort of firewall is blocking you.

I am using only windows firewall and windwos defender. I aleady tried to disable them , i even tried to install driver with them disabled but still the same issue .

You haven't got Parental Controls enabled have you ?

I think that running a anti-virus scan of your system might be a good idea as certain types of malware can hijack the LSP for their own ends.

I ran in to izjasz on the Bigfoot forum we are having similar issues and have had little to no help from tech support. This is disappointing we spent the money for mobo that should run like the wind not fall on its face in the mud.
I have updated all replaced router opened ports turned on and off anti-virus scanned my computer. I am out of ideas other than going out and getting a different network card or RMA board.

OK so let's see if we can come up with something then. As I already said I am not that familiar with this LAN chip but from other problems we have had on the forum here I would suggest disabling all the power saving modes in the BIOS, along with the USB3 and ESATA ports. Hopefully a bit of trial and error might come up trumps.

Thank you for your recommendations, I started by installing a net work card that came out of an old dell that was collecting dust in the corner. Would you believe that it works like a charm. This tells me it is either the chip or poor drivers.
So I got the system working  and now I have to ask do I try to RMA it so I have the system I paid for or what.

Well I would advise you to contact GGTS for their suggestions but if you don't want to wait then you can return it to the retail outlet that you purchased it from for an RMA.

Solution:
1. Go to the following link and download LSP Fixer http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

2. Download Lsp-fix in either zip or exe format. The text file tells you how to use the program.

3.Run the LSP-fix program and put a check mark in the box I know what I am doing.

4. Make sure you do not delete the system LSPs.

The system LSPs are:
(NLAapi.dll @%SystemRoot%\system32\nlasvc.dll)
(napinsp.dll @%SystemRoot%\system32\napinsp.dll)
(pnrpnsp.dll @%SystemRoot%\system32\pnrpnsp.dll)
(mswsock.dll @%SystemRoot%\system32\wshtcpip.dll)

Important: Make sure you do not delete any files that have the SystemRoot directory.

You can check if the Process is a valid windows system LSP by going to http://www.processlibrary.com if the process was created by
Microsoft it is a valid LSP.

5. To clear all invalid LSPs highlight every LSP besides the valid SystemRoot Directory LSPs and click the right arrow to place the invalid LSps in the remove box. After that Press Finish.

6. If it asks you to restart, Reboot your machine. Other wise go to step 7.

7. Open command prompt as an administrator and type the following command:

netsh winsock reset catalog

(note after you do this any programs you use that require its own lsp will have to be reinstalled)

8.Restart your machine.

9.After computer starts up make sure you have the latest drivers of your BF Network Interface card some where downloaded on your hard disk before you go to step 10.

10. Uninstall your BFNetwork Manager, Driver and all components through control panel.

11. Restart your machine.

12. Install your BFNetwork card drivers.

13. Restart

14. Your computer is fixed no more LSP problems displaying at start up of you machine.
