I recently purchased a seagate 3t drive for my windows 7 64 bit system. 1 time and 1 time only I was able to get the installer to recognize the full size of the drive. It showed up at ufie in the device list when selecting the drive. Unfortunately, I was having other issues and had to re-install. Now, I can not get the installer to recognize it, it will create a partition, but then leave a large chunk unassigned. I then have to create a partition after install with seatools.
Is there a trick for getting the bios to push out the drives full size during window's install?
