PCIe boot "disk"

PCIe boot "disk"
« on: May 13, 2012, 11:00:00 pm »
I have a OCZ RevoDrive that I have been utilizing as a boot disk. Everything works perfectly as long as it is the only "drive" in the system. as soon as I install another hard drive, the system fails to boot. I think this is happening because it fails to see the RevoDrive. I was hoping it was a disk priority issue, but the RevoDrive does not show up as an option as it used to in my ASUS bios.

I have seen some post about the problem may be related to having RAID enabled. Due to several factors, I really need to utilize the built-in RAID.

Ideas? Thank you.

Hi

I too have a Revo drive in one of my systems but haven't had the problem you are describing. Are all your ports configured in AHCI mode ? What other drives have you got on the board and what are they connected to ?
