GA-Z77X-UD3H Lagging While Copy Files
« on: June 24, 2012, 04:38:25 pm »
I've just upgrade my system for 1 weeks. Everything seems OK (browing, gaming, office work), until I backup & restore my data or just simply copy & paste large/many files. It's lagging badly. Opening my browser would take 2-3 minutes, watching movie is like in slow motion.. LMAO.
My first hunch is that new HDD defected. Then I test with the old one, same result, lagging.  ???
I've tuning all windows setting and even in save mode, no progress.
Windows Diagnostic Memory Tool came up with healthy RAM.
What's wrong with my computer? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Here is my system :
* Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
* GA-Z77X-UD3H
* Intel Core i7 2600K
* Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 550 Ti
* Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB
* WDC Black 1TB, Seagate 1TB.

I'm using F11 now, which I believe the latest official for Z77X-UD3H.
But I'll give it a shot. I'll update the result later this evening. Thanks.

I have updated to F12d, it shows some improvement. Still lag, but tolerable.
Although not as good as before, when I'm using P55-UD3L win Core i3.
There's another issue about HD alignment. I'll re-format all my HD with win 7 to see if that fill the gap.
