Overclocking on a GA-MA770-UD3 rev 2.0

Morning Peeps.

Been a while since i have been here so hello to you all again.

I have recently upgraded my system and now running a Phenom II 965 and i have dabbled slightly in overclocking buy upping my multipler from 17 to 19.

All runs fine and is stable, however i want to make sure that i am not causing any long term damage to my mobo due to the extra load and temps.

my case is nice and cool with good air flow and cable managament and CPU temps are around 32deg idle and 45 load, using my hyper 212 evo with push pull.

tempted to add some small heat sinks to the VRMs to aid cooling.

One other concern is that my mobo is rated at 120w iirc and my cpu is around the same. Will OCing push the board to its limits?

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Overclocking with the multiplier puts more of a load on the CPU than the motherboard.

Putting a fan on the vrms or even better heatsinks will be helpful since you have a vertical cpu heatsink and air doesn't blow downward on the motherboard anymore.  But probably not needed on light overclocks.
