Thank You. All hardware installed well. Oops, My processor is:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Windsor 3.2GHz Socket AM2 125W Dual-Core Processor ADX6400CZBOX
I have had that CPU , it s practically a 140W TDP CPU.It s a very hot one.
Mine finally died after some FSB overclocking
Keep in mind that a motherboard needs to be CPU 140 W TDP compatible to take it in the first place ,otherwise the motherboard CPU power supply sections will burn or enter over-current protection while you use it.
The same apply-es to the cooler used ,it must be 140W TDP compatible..
Looking on the motherboard product page it reveals 125 W TDP CPU compatibility , but not 140W .
Black screens ,freezing or sudden-shutdowns could mean power supply issues either with the Power Supply itself either with the motherboard CPU VRM section ,but they can also be thermal related issues as well..
Make sure you have a good 500W PSU minimum.
Use only 2 sticks of RAM with this CPU ,the IMC works good and CPU is cooler while using only 2 banks .
If you are using more than 2 sticks you will have to drop the RAM speed under what this memory controller can take as top speed.Don t mix memory brands.
To make sure that the motherboard hasn t died already try another supported AM2 + CPU.
