Ray and I posted the information in the Netbook section of the forum.
But basically it has a dual core celeron processor drawing 17Watts with the same size battery and they took out the USB 3 port. They also seem to have kept the clips that hold the tablet in the cover which break easily.
The S1080 CPU drew 8.5 watts and it gets fairly warm after a time. The N2800 in the S1081 draws 6.5 Watts. How do they propose to cool a 17 watt CPU in a tablet form factor. This double the output of the original S1080?
In addition when they are using the same size battery, you have to expect that battery life will be lower.
Everyone else in the budget tablet market is using Atom processors which allows them to get away from cooling vents, and extend battery life. The S1082 still has the large one from the S1080 design. If they kept the same fan as well, it's going to be one hot and noisy tablet.
