hey folks,
first build . . . 2 weeks ago
okay here we go . . . been everywhere looking for a solution . . .
system goes nuts when I come out of 'sleep' mode
using the hwinfo64 monitor latest build tells me this reading:
the ITE PCH jumps to 207 C
check task manager and resource monitors say all 4 CPU cores are running at max (locked up at 3400+) and recorded on hwinfo system main monitors as well . . .
ET6 used to tell me the same thing, until I switched to hwinfo, and here we go again
I am showing on windows resource monitor that the VDeck Audio exe. program is using 100% of cpu resources at that time !!!!!
gotta reboot to bring it all back to normal settings - normal ITE PCU Temp at 47 C
took vDeck out of auto start, did a sleep test, and sure enough, I got a reading today of 207 C on ITE Temp when I woke the machine up
yet all cores at 33 C, mobo at 27 C, Intel PCH at 65 C - and these are always relatively constant
Gigabyte Tech says upgrade BIOS from F 4 to F 8
never done it before - not sure if its even a solution ??
any thoughts ?
update:
vDeck.exe not running
reloaded ET6 = HW monitor reads CPU Temp at 214 F !!!
loaded CPUID monitor = no comparable temp reading
