GA-Z68AP-D3 NIC problem
« on: August 15, 2012, 09:39:48 am »
I got myself an SSD and installed Windows cleanly (not via an image) onto it however my NIC seems to be stuck on 10Mbps and Half Duplex.

I have tried the drivers from the CD, the drivers from Gigabyte's website and the drivers direct from Intel's and Realteks website with no joy.

Inside the driver it is set to Auto Negotiate. I tried forcing it to various settings and it still stays at 10Mbps/HD. I am wired through to my router (Virginmedia Superhub) via a small Netgear gigabit switch. I have taken the cable out of the back of my PC and put it into 2 different laptops and my Xbox, all 3 NICs correctly negotiate a 1Gbps/FD connection. I even tried a direct connection through to the router, on all 4 of the router ports. All ports connect to my PC on a 10Mbps/HD connection.

Does anyone have any ideas where my next port of call is?
