Hi guys,
I am building a PC for my mum with a 'GA-G41MT-S2PT REV 1.1' and everything was going fine until I attempted to install W7.
When I get to the stage where I need to select a partition or drive to install on I get the following message -
'This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk, ensure that the disk's controller i enabled in computers bios menu'
I have tried everything to get it to install but with no joy. The HDD is 100% working and has been formatted in my old machine. I've read about enabling Ahci which is suppose to help but I don't think it is an option with this mobo & I can't find any sign/mention of it.
If someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me mental now & I can't believe the mobo doesn't support my drive.
The bios version is 6xxx, I will update with the exact version shortly.
