I wish Gigabyte provided the Q-connector that another major mobo manufacturer does?

Yes, it would be nice, wouldn't it!

But why make things simple when you can make them fiddly and difficult?
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

I don't know if the case connectors layout found on the Gigabyte G1.Guerrilla and G1.Sniper is typical of other Gigabyte motherboards, but the item FHEADD20 (10x2 female header) found at http://www.futurlec.com/ConnHead.shtml makes a perfectly fine generic Q-connector for these motherboards.  You can even clip the unused pins and use your drawing skills to label the connector the way ASUS does.
