Microsoft changing my Hotmail
« on: September 01, 2012, 04:16:09 am »
Hi everyone hope you enjoyed the Olympic games.

Okay here is my gripe, I have used "Hotmail" & "Yahoo Mail" for all my messages, now I get a message from 'micky soft'  that I need to upgrade to their new  email service "Outlook .com" arghhhh if I wanted a change I would have used "Windows live", the reason I chose "Hotmail"  & "Yahoo" was I preferred them  over 'windead', windead & Outlook are almost identical, looks like I might delete my outlook account  & just use Yahoo.

What do you guys think?

Hi Ben

Personally I am not a big user of Hotmail but I do find it usefull at times. However I do hate it when companies do this and leave you no option especially when you are happy using the program as your primary choice. I suppose they would call it progress but not all progress is good especially when it is done for the wrong reasons.

Trouble is they leave you with a "fait accompli" and all you can do is go somewhere else if you don't agree.  ::)
