I am new to this forum.
I have been searching posts/FAQ/website for description of the alphanumeric codes Gigabyte uses in its product names. Is there such an item?
It would make plucking out suitable product candidates from their product lists a lot easier to know exactly what the codes refer to. I can guess the chipset part and that "R" refers to RAID (I guess) but the rest like "UD3R" is a bit of a mystery until you drill down to the specifications.
Also can anyone tell me if I was searching for a 1155 Motherboard what would indicate if it is available as a mini-ATX motherboard for an Intel processor without drilling down and reading the specifications for each and every board for the 1155 category?
