Hi guys,i was wondering what is the difference between the GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP rev 1.0 and rev 1.1?

What does revision mean exactly?

Hi and welcome.

Revision just means change to the model. Another way to put it would be "version".

The difference between revisions on the motherboard could well be as simple as using a different make of chip for a certain function or a small change to some on board resource.

No not at all. Sometimes it can be a fault that has been rectified but in other cases it can mean that they have just changed supplier of a certain part or something is no longer available now etc. Often they might have decided that there was a different way to tackle something and in business that usually means they found a way to save some money!
