How to decode the Gigabyte part numbers

How to decode the Gigabyte part numbers

The Gigabyte part numbers obviously encode the features on the motherboard, but what do they mean? For example a TH on the end would seem to mean the board has Thunderbolt features. A U as in UD3H might indicate the board is Ultra Durable, and the 3 maybe means it has 3D bios (maybe). Is there a tech around who help us decode these numbers? For example:

What does the X mean in Z77X?
What do each of the characters in UD3H mean?
Is there a  code related to the bus speed?
How is a D5H different from a UD4H different from a UD3H?
Etc.

We can read the feature comparisons but I'm not convinced they give the whole story given the price differences.

Thanks
