I have just bough one of these boards and a bit confused about the power connections required on the motherboard.
There are two connectors on the board a 24 pin one and also a 4 pin one (marked ATX)
My power supply has a 20-pin and a 4-pin connector, which plug into the 24-pin connector, but there is nothing to plug into the 4-pin socket.
My other Gigabyte board has a 20-pin and a separate 4-pin connector.
I am even more confused after reading the manual!
I cannot get the board to power up and wondered if this is the problem?
Glad of any advice.
Thanks in advance. Cliff

How old is your power supply, most have the 24pin + 4pin ??? if you've only got a 20pin and the 4pin you can get an adaptor to change from 20 -> 24. But in all honesty if your PSU is that old, i'll be tempted to buy a new one.
