Title: MA770 UD3 Temp problem

Hello ,

I have been building a new pc with the  MA770 UD3  mobo and i get very high CPU temps idle its around 80/81 C,
The cpu 1 & Cpu 2 have normal temps,same for the mobo temps and all other,
i checked for bios updates,driver updates, diffrent programs to measure the temps but still i cant get it lower than 80,
does anyone know more about this
My specs

Amd X6400 x2
2x2 gig kingston ram 800
2x 1 kingston ram 667
Crosair power 450 w
gigabyte MA770 UD3
1x Sata 1TB hitachi
2 x sata 350 maxtor

What program are you using to monitor your temps? Try downloading coretemp and seewhat that says.

Thanks for your reply,

Im using speedfan & everest ,  coretemp  gives out 2 temps, Cpu 1 = 36c  &  Cpu 2 = 38c i dont see the high one in there, i hope thats good :)

The 80/81º CPU temp is a bug don't worry.

I have it too, and i believe it´s on every MA770.

I would go by the core temp readings :) In which case you're fine
